Meet Doug Culver

A professional career defined by expertise in sales, marketing, and negotiation, paired with civic voluntarism in leadership roles, have prepared Doug Culver for success in real estate at a client-centric firm like Greenwood King Properties. His professional skills were honed with Houston-headquartered retail institutions Foley’s and Stage Stores, Inc., and transfer seamlessly to serving real estate buyers and sellers all over Houston. “Communication, understanding my clients’ needs, and follow-through are tools I use to make the home buying or selling process as worry free as possible."

 

Once his decision to transition into real estate sales was made, Doug chose to work with Greenwood King. “My wife and I bought our very first home in Hyde Park, near Montrose, through Greenwood King, and without hesitation returned to Greenwood King when we purchased our current home in Southgate. We loved the professionalism, the knowledge and appreciation of Houston’s neighborhoods, friendliness, and quiet confidence of Greenwood King agents,” he says. “And now, I can share that same legacy of trust, experience, and knowledge with my own clients.”

 

Engaging and gregarious, Doug approaches people in a considerate, positive manner. “My Dad’s career was in the Navy, so we moved constantly,” he says. “I attended four high schools in two states, which helped me develop a sincere interest in meeting and establishing relationships with new people. One of the reasons I love Houston so much is that it’s a welcoming city and where I finally planted roots.”

 

Doug and his family, which include his wife, Anne Culver, two grown children, three dogs, and Boris the cat, are 30+ year inside-the-Loop residents. “There are so many great neighborhoods in Houston, that’s one of the reasons I love our city. I look forward to working with my clients to see our city through the same lens that I do, and to help them find their next great neighborhood.”
