She has exceptionally strong business background with an MBA in finance and a BBA in marketing. Eight Years in the mutual fund industry, specializing in retirement plan marketing and education focusing on IRA's, small business plans, 401(k) plans, and other retirement vehicles increases Alexa’s value when thinking about investing in a new home. She brings her financial expertise to each real estate transaction allowing her customers to feel at ease in any transaction.
 
Alexa serves on the Redbuds Steering Committee (Trees for Houston) and is an active member in the Junior League of Houston. She also participates in Woman of Wardrobe’s Dress for Success campaign, assisting woman in furthering their career paths. Her customer service is impeccable as she has assisted her mother, Janet Carter, owner of Edloe Street Cafe and Deli, behind the counter throughout her life. Born and raised in Southside Place and presently residing in West University with her husband, Gordon Burrow, only provides further expertise regarding the West University area.
