Meet Talley Mayes

Talley Mayes is a native Texan and moved to Houston from Lake Charles, LA, in 1964. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and studied Marketing at The University of Texas at Austin.

 

Prior to joining Greenwood King, she worked in mortgage banking and then as a Relocation Consultant, administering the corporate relocation benefits for large corporations serving domestic and international clients.

 

Her vast experience in the mortgage and relocation industries provides the perfect backdrop to her transition into real estate. She understands the importance of building trust and supporting her clients’ needs with strong market knowledge and negotiation skills. Her “hands-on” approach provides her clients with the comfort level needed when buying or selling.

 

Her charity involvements include: Cattle Barons Charity Golf tournament, benefiting the American Cancer Society; and The Ben Johnson Cutting, Sorting and Team Penning, benefiting juvenile diabetes. She was a member of Executive Women International for 9 years, where she was a Board Member, Director of Program Committee, Directory Committee, Membership, and Business Career Development Program (BCDP).
