Meet LaQuesha Spivey

LaQuesha Spivey experienced a pivotal moment during her college years, one that shaped her approach to her future life and work. “I realized that the series of courses I took were not meant to simply teach me how to repeat what was taught,” LaQuesha remembers. “Those courses represented opportunities to think differently and critically about how to solve problems and thereby create opportunity."

 

LaQuesha believes that her parents, her faith, and her work experience shape her desire to be helpful—and to succeed. A previous career as a consultant has given LaQuesha invaluable experience in customer service and in working with all parties involved in a transaction to reach an equitable solution. Her transition into residential real estate sales capitalizes on her enjoyment of meeting new people and on her aim to be an asset to clients who are selling or purchasing a home.

 

As a Realtor®, LaQuesha listens carefully to her clients. She learns about their past experiences and their goals for their current real estate sale or purchase and furnishes useful information about the long-term implications of their choices. LaQuesha works with clients at all levels of the real-estate spectrum, from first-time home buyers to expanding families to urban professionals to empty nesters and is creating a network of loyal clients who refer her to their families and friends.

 

Community service is important to LaQuesha. She is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, founded more than 100 years ago with the goal of service to others. She also serves on her children’s schools’ Parent Teacher Associations and volunteers for her church and several Houston charities.

 

LaQuesha holds a BA from Ohio Wesleyan University and an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. She enjoys traveling, reading and, in her words, “watching my children give new opportunities a chance.”
