Meet Sherry Barker

Sherry Barker brings the same level of commitment to servicing the real estate needs of her customers and clients at Greenwood King Properties as she gave while serving in key positions for organizations including the March of Dimes and the Parent Teacher Association (PTA). “Working all these years as a volunteer, particularly in schools and my church prepared me well for my new career as a NAR member,” remarks Barker. “As a result, I have extensive knowledge of neighborhoods and schools inside and outside the loop".

 

Originally from Tennessee, Barker made Houston her home 24 years ago. Since then, she has given of her time, enthusiasm, and “willingness to go the extra mile” while serving as the “Mothers March of Dimes” chair, a PTA president, vice president and fund raising chair, a member of the Houston Junior Forum, the Houston Bar Auxiliary and Bible study leader. In 1998 she received her real estate license and joined Greenwood King Properties.

 

Barker is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, the wife of an attorney and the mother of two college students and one high school student. With her background and experience, she is well qualified to assist all home buyers, but especially the first-time purchaser.
