Meet Shannon Bardwell Torbett

Native Houstonian Shannon Bardwell Torbett has been surrounded by the real estate world for most of her life. Her mother, Bruce Bardwell, has been a top producer at Greenwood King Properties since 1989 and her father, Wayne Bardwell, is the founder and owner of Bardwell Building Company, a builder of premier luxury homes focused on West University and other Inner-Loop neighborhoods.

 

After graduation from the University of Georgia with a degree in risk management, insurance, and marketing, Shannon began her professional life in Los Angeles as a pharmaceutical sales representative for AstraZeneca. During that 10-year career, she acquired accomplished sales and marketing skills which have transferred seamlessly to her second career in real estate sales.

 

In 2020, Shannon, her husband and their daughter returned to Houston to begin Shannon’s career at Greenwood King Properties and to be closer to their families in Houston and Dallas. They settled in West University where Shannon grew up.

 

Shannon is a former member of The Junior League of Los Angeles and currently volunteers for the National Charity League and for her daughter’s school. She’s a big sports fan—Georgia Bulldogs and the Astros—and especially enjoys time spent with family and friends at her family beach house in Galveston.
