Laura Cardno began her real estate career as an assistant to a dynamic top producer at Greenwood King Properties. Over eight fast-paced years, she gained firsthand experience across the full spectrum of residential real estate, developing the confidence, composure, and expertise to navigate even the most complex transactions.
Driven by preparation and proactive thinking, Laura takes ownership of every detail. “I am motivated by growth and continuous improvement, and I believe in doing things the right way,” she says. Building lasting relationships and earning trust are at the core of her approach. She cares deeply about creating a smooth, positive experience for her clients and remains steady under pressure, always focused on achieving success for her buyers and sellers.
Born in Aberdeen, Scotland and raised primarily in Houston, Laura brings an international perspective to her work. Having lived abroad and traveled extensively, she has been exposed to diverse cultures and communities, shaping her understanding that relocation is more than logistics. It is a deeply personal transition that deserves empathy, care, and thoughtful guidance.
Laura graduated from Clements High School in Sugar Land and earned her degree in strategic communications and business from Texas Christian University, where she was a member of Tri Delta sorority and played competitive tennis. Athletics remain an important part of her life, with tennis, pickleball, and daily workouts keeping her energized and disciplined. “Exercise gives me energy, focus, and structure that carries into the rest of my day.”
Laura volunteers with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo as a member of the Wine Garden Committee and remains connected to the TCU Alumni Association.
We are firm believers in active participation in the local community and support a high level of volunteerism with significant financial contributions to schools, organizations and community programs.
