Meet Karen Garrett

Karen Garrett knows River Oaks: as both a resident and a Realtor®. Living in River Oaks for over 20 years and selling in River Oaks for almost 25 years, allows Karen to know the market in ways that only come from a wide range of experiences and history. This knowledge translates to not only full service, but rather a depth of service that Karen believes is the essence of her work. Wise choices and wise decisions are best based in wisdom. The mother of two daughters, who attended St. John's School, Karen served in various capacities at the school. As the founding chairman of the Houston Ballet Docent program, she also served in other roles in the Houston Ballet Guild. Chairman of the Covenant House Auction, March of Dimes Chairman for River Oaks, as well as an active member of her church are a few of her civic activities. 

 

Homes are not only Karen's profession, but her hobby as well, as she is an avid antique collector. Karen's daughters both reside in New York City, where Sarah, a graduate of Columbia University, is currently pursuing a doctorate from Rockefeller University, and Laura is a junior at New York University.
