Meet Cynthia Candela

Drawing on a 30-year background in marketing and public speaking, native Houstonian Cynthia Candela is a Top Producer and connects with her clients on an emotional as well as professional level. "I'm a loving, caring, fun, energetic, person who loves every day and everyone," says Cynthia.

 

Cynthia has been in the real estate industry for more than 13 years and been a licensed NAR Member for more than nine years. She is a part of the HAR Global Advisory Group assisting international clients buying or selling here or in other countries. Cynthia also holds the prestigious CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist) real estate designation. In addition to her own real estate career, she and her husband, a custom home builder, spend a portion of each day looking at properties and new construction in or near the West University area where he grew up and now builds luxury homes, an activity that helps keeps her up-to-date on what's happening in the ever-changing West U market. This adds to her exceptional knowledge of new construction.

 

"Being married to a home builder has added to my understanding of construction and how a home is built, from placing the studs to specialty sheetrock to finishes and even the selection of a roof," Cynthia observes. "My experience in marketing and sales helps me to effectively expose my sellers' homes to targeted buyers and gives me valued negotiating skills. A marketing and public speaking background helps me to adapt to a variety of situations and relate to many different personalities."

 

Cynthia works throughout Houston's traditional Inner-Loop neighborhoods, focusing on West University, and assisting clients at all price levels and in age groups from young singles to empty nesters. She has many clients who are doctors, attorneys, and international clients, as well as high profile clients and energy executives and is very adaptable to working with their demanding schedules. When not working, Cynthia volunteers for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and enjoys swimming, dance, and working out. She and her husband live in West University.
