Barbara Fisher’s enthusiasm for her city is undeniable. Bobbie, as she is known to friends, has been a NAR Member since 1981, and she and her working partner and husband, Charlie, focus their sales in the areas surrounding Rice University and the Texas Medical Center. Well-known neighborhoods in these areas include Southampton, Southgate, Braeswood, West University, Southside Place, Braeswood Place, Ayreshire, Bellaire, and Meyerland, but Bobbie and Charles are also conversant with the numerous “pocket” districts that dot the landscape and are often overlooked.
Bobbie’s encyclopedic area knowledge allows her to inform her clients about property values and market trends from an insider’s perspective. She ensures that clients fully understand the complexities of their sale or purchase transaction, and takes particular care to educate sellers on preparing their home stand out in the marketplace and attract target buyers.
Bobbie and Charlie, a retired United Airlines pilot, have lived in West University since 1979. Charlie has held a real estate license for more than 30 years and it was a natural segue for him to begin his full-time, second career with Bobbie. As long-time WU-area residents, Bobbie and Charlie have their fingers on its pulse, and offer clients first-hand knowledge about the public and private schools and what it’s like to live in the neighborhood and surrounding areas.
