Meet Bet Jennings

Bet is a native Houstonian, 5th generation. Bet offers experience, a strong knowledge of real estate, resourcefulness, a wealth of contacts, valuable community volunteer experience, and a warm, caring personality that puts her clients at ease throughout the real estate process.

 

Bet is a consistent top-performing agent in the Houston and Galveston markets and a Greenwood King Top Producer. She has been named a 2022 and 2023 Real Trends America’s Best Real Estate Professionals in Texas. She holds a Texas Real Estate Broker's license and received her BA degree from the University of Houston. Her prior experience in real estate syndications and raw land investments evolved into residential properties. She is an excellent communicator and guides her clients through the real estate process. Her goal is to exceed the expectations of her clients in a sincere, honest, and straightforward approach. Her business is based on excellent service to each client, and she values her clients for strong referrals and repeat business.

 

Bet is equally comfortable in the city, the beach at Galveston, and the countryside west of Houston. She is active in church and community in the Tanglewood area of Houston as well as in Galveston. Most owners of second homes and resort property in Galveston are from Houston, so it was a natural transition to help clients in both areas. In Houston, being a native Houstonian, she has a large territory including Tanglewood, Memorial, Galleria, West University, and the suburbs and countryside west of Houston. In Galveston, she specializes in the Pirates communities of Laffite’s Cove, Pirates Cove, Pirates Beach, Pirates Beach West on the West End, historic homes, and luxury condos on the East End. She was a leader in a zoning issue to protect her Pirates neighborhoods. She owns a home in Laffites Cove (since 2007).  She has developed deep friendships with her clients, their friends, and their children. Her business is multi-generational, and often helps parents, grandparents, and children of the same family sell and buy homes. She goes the extra mile to help make the real estate process as smooth as possible.

 

When not working, voluntarism is an important part of her life. Bet serves on the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) Development Board, a director on the boards of Laffites Cove POA, Pirates POA, and West Galveston POA. She is a member and volunteer at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Holy Family Parish in Galveston, a member of Galveston Country Club, and the Galveston Bay Foundation. She and her husband are members of the Knights of Momus Krewe. Bet enjoys spending time with her family, her Chiweenie, and friends, reading, gardening (she is a Master Gardener), biking, and long walks. She has a son and daughter and happily flies the flags of all their universities at her Galveston home, UT, Texas A&M, and the University of Houston.
